We were so pleased to welcome our students back from Thanksgiving break. Campus is always more exciting when they are here. Now we will buckle down and finish strong over the next few weeks as final exams approach. Thank you for all the love and support you will show your students as they wrap up the semester. I know it can be a stressful time, but as I told them in my most recent newsletter, they have everything it takes to meet challenges with success, and the Division of Student Life is here to help in any way we can.

Hawkeye Meal Share

The Office of the Dean of Students is proud to announce Hawkeye Meal Share, an initiative that gives students the opportunity to donate their unused guest meal swipes online to any undergraduate, graduate, or professional student in need at the University of Iowa. We hope to combat food insecurity across campus, and I am so proud of this collaboration that spans several areas of Student Life including the Office of Dean of Students, Office of the Vice President for Student Life, University Housing and Dining, University of Iowa Student Government, Graduate and Professional Student Government, Food Pantry at Iowa, Associated Residence Halls, and our amazing and kind-hearted students.

You can learn more about Hawkeye Meal Share and how students can give and receive meals here.

As always, thank you for sharing your students with us. Their energy is the reason I have the best job in the world.

On Iowa!
